How to Donate to a Maine Clean Elections Act Candidate

Step 1: Go to http://maine.gov/cleanelections

Step 2: Click “Contribute”

Step 3: Complete fields as follows:

1. Municipality (select Sanford)

2. Residential Address (your address)

   • Street number (i.e. “1” for 1 Main Street)

   • Steet Name: start typing and your street will show up (i.e. Main St.) Be sure to check that you selected the right street type (St, Rd. Ave.)

   • Unit/Apartment Number (if applicable)

3. Voter Name (Your name)

   • Enter your name as your registered to vote

4. Click Continue

Step 4: Check the box next to John Henkelman any other Maine Clean Elections Act candidates.

Step 5: Sign the electronic signature. Then click Continue to Payment

Step 6: Complete payment information.
